Temperatures at about 60 deg F and a nice big storm. This will be good now until next year, if we do not have any more rain.

Yes that is how our climate is. We do have an irrigation system for my garden though as do most people here. And irrigation is used where ever things need t o grow.
It is amazing to me how the native flora keeps alive. So different to my native England.
