My garden today after a very heavy rain storm and hail !! No damage done and the rain was very much appreciated.

A sigh of relief the board for the horses was paid today and so for another month we are ok.
Then I realized that the horses had been turned out for about a month, three days a week for about half an hour,

on a pasture that had fiddle neck in it. There was grass as well. So hopefully they did not eat the fiddle neck which is toxic. Come Monday we will try to mend the fence that has partly come down, on the two other grass turn outs.

A week after the hub bub at the ranch all seems to be well for the time being. We are hoping that our board amount will stay the same and all will be well. We will not know until we pay our next board payment on he 15th. But so far another horse owner at the ranch paid on the first and his payment stayed the same.

Changes are happening where we keep our horses. A new manager and owner of the horse boarding business has come about. We do not know if our board will be raised. Plan B is to look for somewhere to live where we do not have to worry about the horses. The Bakersfield area is a possibility. We will see what happens next.
