Aiden, Doug's grandson had a great time today riding on my old lawn tractor around where we keep the horses. Doug set the control so that it would not go very fast, and told Aiden not to stop  and get off the tractor if he saw a snake.  The picture is of one of our two Aussie's Roy running after Doug who is running after Aiden.

We found a fabulous place for the horses with lots of trails, no roads, an arena, two round pens and two big turnouts. We have met several fellow boarders and they are great!! We are in the process of settling in.

It is done, the lawsuit was settled with a mediation. The result among other things being that we have to move the horses somewhere else, and we may have J and the girls live here with us for five months. We had already looked at a boarding place for the horses about a month ago. Coco gets to go too.
J has a house of her own but it is currently being leased until December. She has two months to move. The house in the lawsuit where the horses board now will be either refinanced or sold. I was hoping to be able to stay, but it is not to be. It is always scary to move away to the unknown, but I am hoping for the best.
