I am thrilled to have found pictures of Karrot's sire Kelly's Justa Morgan. He died several years ago at age 30. His family lives in Olympia Washington. He was an amazing horse, according to his owners and sired several offspring. Maybe I will be able to trace who they were and get a relative of Karrot one day.
 His pedigree. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/kellys+justa+morgan

My front door

Spring has been with us for a few weeks now. Here in S California we do have a Winter. Temperatures are mostly cooler, and the grass stops growing, and leaves fall off the trees.  Every plant in my garden is now showing the effects of longer days and sunlight. With lots of flowers and the grass needs to be mowed again.

Pesky with Doug and Karrot
Doug on Karrot and Sierra on the trail
Sierra and Doug on Karrot just outside the gate to the barn

Pesky
Lots of riding and Doug getting back in the saddle. He and I rode around the trail. I rode Coco who was very lively. Doug rode our old King Karrot and ponied Sierra. We got Pesky to pony in the arena. Pesky should know how to pony very well as he was a race horse. But it has been about 7 years since he last did this. We had lots of fun and excitement and hope to continue and perfect our rides. Doug has ordered a new saddle pad and would like some different reins. I would like Coco to relax and walk around the trail.

Today we have Santa Ana winds and warmer temperatures. The law suit is progressing and we have a response from the other party. I will be interested to see what the response is in detail. Hopefully we will see on Monday.
Eddy and Steph went to Korea for 10 days to visit with her parents. It was cold and snowy there, not much different from their home in NYC.
I have been riding Coco and working on her phobias. I also looked at her pedigree via the MHR.Her sire was an outstanding show ring champion . His name is DFM Keep The Faith. Coco has 5 crosses to Waseeka's Nocturne who I just did a picture pedigree for. I sent a copy of it to Waseeka Farm.Plus it is on ebay at the moment.
